About This Beer
To craft it, the PDX Lager legends teamed up with The Beery Godmother — aka LaTreace Harris, certified cicerone, BJCP judge, and beer consultant extraordinaire.
Together, they took inspiration from a cocktail (which was itself inspired by tom yum soup) at Yaowarat, a Thai/Chinese restaurant in Portland. They started with a pale base brewed with rice for a soft, crisp sip. Then they added lime leaf, Thai birds-eye chili, and coconut, culminating in a brew as vibrant as it is dynamic.
Tasting Notes
Colada and wildflower aromas perfume the air with every straw-hued pour. The swig opens with delicate bready nuances plus a touch of wild grass and zesty citrus. Ripples of coconut and chili carry underneath with an approachable heat before a clean, snappy finish.
