About This Beer
The team started with an Imperial Stout aged in Acre Whiskey barrels for 14 months, a Scotch Ale matured in Wild Turkey barrels for 6 months, and an English-style Barleywine that snoozed in O.Z. Tyler bourbon barrels for 14 months. Once carefully combined, the brewers finished the melange on Rwandan vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Swirl the glass and rich aromas of cocoa and dark fruit draw you in. A taste reveals layer upon layer of raisin, toffee, and dark chocolate nuances. Oaky vanilla smoothness and a roasty whisper weave throughout, complementing the foreground flavors with their added depth.
