Hazy Duz it
Moonraker Brewing Co.
A Note on This Beer
Imperial IPAs from Moonraker hold an average score of 4.24 on Tavour! That’s insane.
And after tasting the bold Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic Hops in today’s Hazy Duz It, I think that average might actually go up a little. I’ll bet that once all you hazeheads get a sip of the tangerine, apricot, and grapefruit flavors in this brew, you’ll wind up sounding just like @RaulMondesi:
“Wow. Wow. Think of something epic. Like King Kong crawling up a skyscraper…. This thing is gigantic and monumental on ALL levels.”
It sure is! Hazy Duz It even took home a medal from the Can Can Awards, a competition strictly for canned beers. And that’s just a tiny sliver of all the praise Moonraker has racked up.
- Craft Beer and Brewing named Moonraker a Breakout Brewery just last year, describing the brewers as ‘virtuosos’.
- Thrillist called them one of the 32 Hottest Breweries in America, comparing the clamor for their Hazies to a new California Gold Rush.
- And, at just three years old, they already have multiple GABF medals and a first place showing at The Bistro’s Double IPA Fest!
But, if you want a taste of Hazy Duz It, you’ll either have to pack up the car and road trip out to Cali for a visit to the taproom, or beat all the other Moonraker fans to a can from our little stash.

Juicy, citrusy, dank, smooth.
Had everything I want in an IPA. Juicy, citrus flavors, plenty of hops, soft on the palate and very crushable.
This was great from beginning to end. Even got better as it warmed
Damn good. Moonraker scores again. Super balanced and tasty as hell.
Moonraker is one of my favorite brewers of all time. The flavors in this one are so crisp and so good. Unfortunately ever single beer from Moonraker that I’ve gotten from Tavour have been too flat. I’m not sure if this is a problem with their canning process or if the beer is taking too long to get to me. Hopefully they figure that out soon.
