A Note on This Beer
Curse those New England hopmasters! They’ve got us in their clutches with their hazy mega-juice bombs, and we can’t enough -- but getting the real thing? Damn impossible unless you’re on the East Coast or have an insider who’ll trade his stash for one of your kidneys.
We’ve got a fever, and the only cure is Glorious Pale Ale from Massachusetts hopkings Lord Hobo Brewing: A prescription strength nectar explosion of Galaxy Hops’ smooth pineapple, passionfruit, and mango fruitness to fulfill all your hazy cravings.
Glorious is a labor of fruit-tastic love. Lord Hobo put off brewing again and again until they were damn sure they got enough Galaxy Hops to make this a bonafide juicebomb. Their patience pays off as soon as we open the can -- straight-up sweet Dole pineapple aromas battling with mango supremacy for control of our senses. Once you taste it, holy cow...more pineapple juice and passionfruit on the tongue. It’s so soft, so juicy, so crazy fruity easy to drink we’re about ready to pack up and move to Boston just to get closer to its source.
Glorious is as aptly named as it is flush with real fruit hoppiness -- but that’s Lord Hobo for you. They’re blasting through the Massachusetts craft scene with their flavorful hoppy brews, and this hazy IPA is spot on. If this is your first taste of a real New England juicebomb, you’re in for a glorious time.
