About This Beer
For this small, one-off batch, the Mortalis crew started with a tart base layered with bright raspberry and drippy mango. Then they complemented that luscious nectar with everyone’s favorite juice-squirting Gushers candy for nostalgic bursts of flavors.
Tasting Notes
Gorgeous gushes of candied mango ripple with ripe, red bramble berry. Pops of fruit snack sweetness course throughout, never once giving away the 7% ABV.

heavy on the raspberry. very sweet but the finish dries up enough to keep it enjoyable. if you’re going to drink your dessert it might as well be this.

alright, i never rate anything one star. why would i? don’t get me wrong, i was not a fan of this beer but i have never had a smoothie-type sour before. The consistency was something i wasn’t prepared for. Now, i like sours, but this was still rather indulgent. don’t get me wrong: it didn’t taste *terrible.* but if you’re not a big fan of gushers like me, it’s probably safe to say you won’t like this one. fun little idea, okay taste, but certainly not the best.

Raspberry dominates aroma; Starburst candies dominate flavor. Nice balance - sweet and tart at the same time. Fairly light bodied with a candy-like finish.
