I don't think I got as much of the smores flavor as I would have liked, but still really tasty.
Sweet stout treat
It’s actually not as rich as I was expecting, which is nice because it’s a lot. I’d recommend letting it sit in your mouth for a little bit before swallowing because it really lets you get a full range of the flavors it carries.
Not as smooth as I would like the chocolate flavor is the but that’s all
Very rich chocolate flavors not very much marshmallow
Tasted like a good imperial stout but didn’t get much of the s’more flavor
I’m not sophisticated enough to describe this beer! But I enjoyed it and mostly got a nice syrupy chocolate flavor from it.
Chocolaty snicker doodle. Heavy but good!
Thick and sweet, it’s good just not my favorite in this style.
Needs more marshmallows
Campfire in my mouth
Exactly what it needs to be, with some booziness.
Very nice “dessert” taste! Pretty heavy but one glass was excellent!
As a chocolate imperial stout, really knocks it out of the part. S’mores flavor? I suppose it’s there, definitely catch the smell of molasses in the aroma but didn’t taste much of those graham crackers
Argh they ruined this with the cinnamon
The nose smells like its going to be a sugar bomb but comes across the palate nicely and finishes dry. Overall a very solid stout.
Delicious - nice and chocolatey.
This is one of my favorite beers of all time!
Still just as great as the bottled version, but more of the alcohol becomes apparent after it starts warming up. Perhaps the bottle version is superior as the pours are smaller, so you can enjoy it optimally. Either way, great, but not overwhelming hits of cinnamon. A good spiced graham flavor throughout with delicious bitter cocoa nibs. And to finish things, a sweet and almost creamy marshmallow flavor. Definitely one of the better s’mores beers I’ve had, but still a pleasant beer referencing LOTR.
When I seen this, I was happy as hell, and maxed out the allotment I could get. I don’t like pastry stouts, but this one is different. It’s a liquid s’more. I truly hope that somehow Tavour can get some of the BA version.
The pleasant chocolate, cinnamon and marshmallow notes are crushed by the extremely bitter finish.
S’mores for days.
Can’t go wrong with Westbrook stouts and s’mores
There’s a lot going on in this beer. I found it difficult to taste some of the flavors brewed into it. The richness and body come across as a bit cloying. Having said the foregoing, it’s a decent pastry stout but didn’t live up to its description in my opinion.
Very nice chocolate, marshmallow, and cinnamon flavors. Smooth base with subtle graham cracker undertones.
I was excited for this one to come up but ended up kinda disappointed. All I taste is SUPER dark chocolate
Nice hints of s'mores without being overpowering
I like stouts and chocolate. This is a wonderful combination of both. This is a very milky stout that kind of drinks like an ale. I don’t get much of a s’mores flavor beyond the chocolate though. Overall a good beer and with 11% ABV I would reorder again
Very vanilla, not so much smores
Mostly chocolate with a hint of vanilla, drinkable pastry stout for sure
If s’mores is what you’re looking for, this delivers! A little sweet for me but overall still really enjoyed it
Tastes of a charred smokiness, taste the alcohol as is not barrel aged. Was good to try but not to stock up on.
Perfect flavors of marshmallow, chocolate and almost molasses-heavy graham crackers. It smells just like a Mexican bakery due to the cinnamon, but the cinnamon subtly brings everything together with the aromas and flavors. This is a killer stout!
S’more taste for sure. Solid stout
Too boozy, can mr taste the adjuncts
Boozy, with a nice chocolatey cinnamon flavour
Unlike other S’more beers I could actually taste all the elements of the campfire treat. I do wish it came in a smaller bottle, it was a lot to get through in one night.
The best big size item I have bought.
Flavor was there but a bit thin for my tastes. Perhaps I left it for a bit too long... But something this big should have held up better. It's not a bad beer, but I've had better and it def could be thicker
Very toasty flavor
S’mores in a thick, rich beer. Nose is super chocolatey & graham crackery. Starts off sweet but mellows a bit into the chocolate & marshmallow & cinnamon. Cinnamon lingers lightly.
Too much cinnamon and bitter chocolate
Delicious but not my style beer!
This is the way
A winter warmer smore stout. The right amount of cinnamon. Perfect amount of sweetness
Very strong. But could taste the cinnamon
Missing a lot of the adjuncts
good adjuncts. no flavor over powers the others.
really great. well done stout and all the added flavors are there but not overpoweringly sweet or boozy. still tastes like a beer
I feel like Frodo and all his excitement at approaching the Black Gates! Right before Sam and Golem pulled him back!
Roasty & smooth. Nice head to this beer. There is a bit of a bitter twang in the tail end.
Heavy and sweet. A dessert beer where 1 is more than enough
Sweet chocolate with creamy vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon at the end. Hodor!
Chocolate aroma with Slight bitterness from the cocoa nibs. A smooth, full bodied mouthfeel. Some subtle booziness but not overpoweringly so considering the 11% abv. This beer is precious! Reviewed live at twitch.tv/brewedforgaming.
Dark chocolate, slight hint of marshmallow, smoky on the back end.
Marshmallow-y goodness without being overly sweet
This is my favorite stout. It's so easy to drink even with the high ABV. It's definitely the most smore tasting beer I've had
Really pushes the graham cracker part of the smore
Not as good as years past
Nose of dark roast coffee & chocolate. Pours deep dark brown w/decent head. Smooth mouthfeel. On palate, roasty, coffee, bittersweet chocolate. Hint of vanilla too. Not bad.
Great chocolate stout but very light on marshmallow and graham. Delicious.
Better out of bomber, but nice Graham, cocoa and lots of cinnamon. Marshmallows are there but slightly charred. Lovely malt backbone and nice bittering
Was looking for the smores taste but all I tasted was cinnamon. Good stout though
Least favorite of the s’mores variety I’ve had, bitter chocolate, a little cinnamon and graham cracker
Good but not great
Sweet boozy Stout that’s great for sipping in front of the TV. nice s’more taste with deep chocolate and cinnamon.
Good and definitely is similar tasting to a smore, just wish it had more marshmallow
Very bitter. Tastes like dark cacao. Vaguely tastes like s’mores. Nice for an imperial stout, but I just wish it was a tad sweeter and more of a marshmallow flavor. Overall really nice.
Dark chocolate is predominant with a slight marshmallow aftertaste.
superb imperial stout. smooth as silk all the way through the finish.
Intense chocolate slow sipper
Thought it would be a touch sweeter. Bitter chocolate taste, nice thick stout. Just wish it tasted more like what's listed on the can. Would've been nice to get a bit of the marshmallow sweetness. Tastes better as it warms up.
i’ve tried to like this beer so many times. The original description made me order plenty of them. I was disappointed. Very heavy very strong tasting not enjoyable.
Seemed a little bit too sweet
nice stout from Westbrook
burnt marshmallow, Graham cracker, chocolate
taste like a bitter earthy chocolate. just ok
Wish I got more of the adjuncts present.
its ok, nothing outstanding
Not as sweet as I was expecting, and I'm glad. Very thick and tasty.
It’s like drinking a booze soaked candy bar, in a good way.
A rare miss by westbrook. lacked flavor big time.
Thin body, chocolate/cinnamon nose. Let it warm or the bitter dark chocolate is all that comes through.
I think I’m just not a stout kind of guy
more bitter than I expected but good flavor!
I’m officially done giving s’mores beers a chance I feel they deserve!
Sweet & smooth. Thick.
Pretty good. Def boozy. Nice hints of Graham cracker with the abundance of chocolate. Missing the marshmallow though.
good stout, adjunct were light, but present
very bitter some dark chocolate slight graham cracker.
Bit of a let down tbh, not a fan of dark beers typically unless there's s'mores flavors involved and this one was really lacking any graham cracker or cinnamon or marshmallow tastes
Very dark cocoa taste, not much else. Not really what I expected, which is good and bad?
Party in my mouth
Dark and a solid brew but not as much body
tasty aim but doesn’t come together well and ends up sweet followed by brash stout burn
chocolate and marshmallow, found this a bit sweet with an oak-y under taste.
