The initial pucker fades quickly into the background and the fruit layers quickly dominate. This one’s great.
Flavorful. Pretty good. Not sure if the marshmallow and lactose work for me. Long finish.
Blackberry, currant, grape juice, sour.
A bit tart but with a sweet edge. Yummy.
Oh this is sour and tasty. I want more
Was disappointed in this one. Flavors just weren’t there.
It's ok but not standout
yummy and sour.
Dark; Black Currant; Tart
Nice, tart and clean with lots of berries
Daily corona battle. This is delightfully tart, not puckering. Deep beautiful blue and rich in blueberry and whatever currant is, but rich and dry finishing.
Love the blueberry
Nice and fruity. Not very tart, but very tasty.
16oz can from Tavour. Deep violet pour, almost black, with a foamy purple head. Fruity aroma, blackberries edging out the currants. Taste is sweet and tart, berries and grape juice, raisins. Just sour enough.
Not complex but very balanced. All the flavors are there and compliment well. Tad sweet. This was nice.
This beer is as violet as it is tasty, which is to say vividly, unapologetically violet. Like Willy Wonka, is-that-a-color-that-occurs-in-nature violet. It does, and it is delicious. Sweet like flowers from your favorite lover, but a bit sour like flowers from your husband or wife.
Sour, blackberry, very slight wheat aftertaste but tasty! Don’t drink anything different beforehand!
Very fruity with great black currant and blackberry combo punch. Great smell. A sour done right.
This brew delivers on its flavor profile perfectly. Tart raspberry, with a great currant bite. Sweet and sour marry brilliantly.
Look Ma no hands
To me this was like eating fresh blackberries. Some are a little tart, some sour, some a little bitter. Each sip gave me a little of all those flavors as if I was eating the real thing. This was way too easy to drink.
I love Sours! Also being Welsh love currant! So yes I love this beer! The flavors both compliment and feed off of each other as you progress through the beer. Only minor gripe it hails from Pittsburgh - Go Browns!
Both of the fresh fest beers i got were pretty bad . This was unique but I wouldn’t get it again
