A Note on This Beer
The craft beer YouTube channel “Hop Central” says Decadent Ales make “boundary pushing beers.” And that’s scrumptiously evident as hoppy beers have now earned their place at the breakfast table thanks to today’s French Toast Double IPA.
I kid you not, this 8.6% ABV DIPA is made with real maple syrup, caramelized sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Try to tell the brewers at Decadent it can’t be done, and they’ll provide the proof with French Toast IPA’s sweet syrupy aromas down to its pancake-like finish.
Sweet-toothed hopheads are rubbing their tummies and scratching their noggins at the same time trying to understand how Decadent hid the booze in each wave of maple-cinnamon French Toast intensity, and packed it all into such a soft, drinkable DIPA.

If you take your French Toast dry with no syrup, this beer isn’t for you. This French Toast Double IPA is swimming in ooey-gooey breakfast-for-dessert sweetness.
