A Note on This Beer
New Orleans is a place of mystery and romance, where the scent of frying beignets wafts through the hot, sticky air. Live jazz pours out of club windows, and each Gothic building echoes with ghost stories of the dwellers who came before.
Today’s Imperial Stout, French Quarter Temptress, invites you to dance on waves of creamy caramel and smoky molasses.
Though the taste transports you to New Orleans, this Temptress comes from the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Championship medalists at Lakewood Brewing in Texas. It’s the third in their award-winning Seduction series!
The brewers crafted this sultry little number with bourbon barrel-aged Peruvian Cajamarca coffee beans, infused with chicory root. Each rich and tantalizing sip oozes with freshly brewed coffee, brown sugar, and chocolate-covered caramels. There’s a roasted malt backbone and a hint of oaky bourbon that slowly rises to the top.
It’s like devouring a caramel-filled chocolate truffle and chasing it with a sip of coffee — that’s been spiked with Maker’s Mark.
You may try to resist the allure of this captivating brew, but every taste will have you coming back for more — ‘til you’re caught in the clutches of its beguiling 9.1% ABV.
There’s only one way to taste this treat outside of Texas, and that’s right here. So, why not step in for a dance with French Quarter Temptress, and let the sensuous flavors transport your taste buds to a smoky, chocolate-dipped nirvana.
