This is a smooth chocolate drinking beverage. Make sure you by a few.
Getting aromas of vanilla, cocoa and the whiskey-soaked coffee beans right out the gate, maybe even a bit of caramel. Flavors coming through are cocoa-malty, oakey, other flavors layered in there. This is a seriously fine sipping brew. Bravo, 903!
Delicious, and nice tribute to RBG.
Delicious. Definitely let it warm up, flavors came together as it warmed
Really balanced. Booziness is well hidden. Los of character and nuances. All the flavors play well off of each other
Awesome! Nailed the whiskey soaked flavor
Very tasty oatmeal stout
Thick mouth feel, sweet but with a great whiskey/coffee balance to offset. Really like how they kept the malt bitterness in check.
Wasn’t really impressed by this beer as I thought it to be bland. Maybe others thought more or had a better experience, not me.
Disappointingly thin but nicely flavored
Very strong. Very fitting.
Intense. Loved the flavors and walked away with a good buzz for sure.
I liked the thickness and how well balanced the flavors were. This is very good.
It was pretty strong. Nice flavor too
A fitting tribute
Rich and creamy!
This is good, it’s boozy as f***, obviously at 16.4%. At first I tasted the bourbon from the coffee beans, vanilla and bunch of booze. After it warmed up a little the coffee came through stronger. Not as thick as you’d think. This is a slow sipper.
Very strong, but the coffee notes make it delightfully smooth. A great brew
A bit sweet, but very flavorful.
Pretty sweet, but absolutely delicious!
Smooth, and heavy on the coffee. Very nice stout to slowly enjoy given the ABV!
Amazing! Boozy, coffee, vanilla, excellent stout!
Good, not great BA stout. Tons of vanilla, really came through as it warmed. Generally a little too syrupy and thin for me though.
1-21-21 Perfect intense stout. Good to split with friends for more beer happiness!
I don't just throw out 5 ratings, so that should tell u something. Friggin amazing stout
Super intense flavor on this one, not to mention potent af!
Layered and creamy! One of the best stouts I have ever had. Very exceptional, just the like the lady it honors.
Delicate, tasty but at 13.9....it is a bomb. Must have!
Really good brew. Thick and a good blend of bourbon, coffee and vanilla.
Strong but smooth, vanilla and coffee
Beautiful balance of flavors in this stupidly smooth and delicious brew. Love the tribute to RBG who did so much in the fight for equality; a great theme for this style. Wish I bought a few of these instead of just the one. Please find me more!
Nice amount of coffee flavour and bitterness. Still has a good creaminess to it with a decent bit of booze on the back end.
Excellent stout! Malt and chocolate on the nose. Loads of dark chocolate, coffee, and oak that’s very well balanced. Not overly sweet at all. The whiskey shines through as it warms. This is a good one to drink slow.
Great stout. Smooth with a good coffee, chocolate and vanilla balance. Nice whisky notes.
Great brew! Great texture
coffee and oak
Great beer! Chocolate, whiskey, vanilla, and coffee are all there
Coffee and chocolate goodness
All of the flavors come through. Slight coffee finish.
Delicious. Nice cinnamon touch. Rich.
Yes Yes Yes. Creamy and thick. The coffee flavor was so smooth. And just a hint of vanilla sweet. Velvety finish.
Strong. Bold. Great tasting. Lives up to the name. Must try.
Heavy Barrel, Oak, Sweet, Chocolate, Coconut
HUGE boozy sipper. Some vanilla sweetness on the front followed by the huge massive barrel flavor.
Fabulous beer made even better by paying homage to RBG
strong but awesome
Wow! Phenomenal Stout! As some others noted, nothing overpowering yet a good balance of sweet, oats, whiskey, and vanilla!! Highly recommended!
boozy chocolate syrup with a nice coffee bite. share this with a friend!
really good but very heavy and sweet (duh haha). Had a hard time finishing the can but a small pour of this is amazing.
Coffee-forward with alcohol heat, and vanilla rounding it out.
definitely boozy, but at that percentage it is going to be. overall enjoyed and great beer to share
Party in my mouth
Very Dense and very Dark. This brew is able to seamlessly combine the rich bitter flavors of the whiskey soaked coffee beans, with the sweat light flavors of the vanilla. Pretty much perfect. Surprisingly not too boozy either.
Taste of chocolate & coffee, thick and the ABV does not ruin the taste in anyway, reminds of 1554 just WAY better
Nice coffee forward with a very nice dark chocolate finish. Not too sweet and a very nice conversion from one flavor to the finish.
This was awesome. So much balance and the boozy coffee was on point.
Pretty good stout. Love the 13.9%. Vanilla and marshmallow are very powerful. Great mouth feel. A little sweet at first but that fades the more you drink it. Worth a try for sure.
Decent BA stout. Did not live up to the description of being "thick".
Powerful whisky coffer bean taste in a good way...chocolate up front and whisky on the back. Not usually a fan of that personally but works real well here
I got this just for the can, to be honest. You can definitely taste the vanilla, but not like a sweet artificial vanilla, but an actual vanilla extract flavor. Only a slight coffee flavor. Overall not too bad, but in my opinion the beer doesn’t match the can.
Really tasty. One of the best stouts I’ve had the pleasure of tasting.
super beautiful sugar coffee bean taste - fantastic stout without being too sweet or syrup-ey
The coffee flavor was subtle but for a stout it was delicious!!!!!
Very drinkable despite the high ABV. Lots of coffee and some vanilla without being overpowering
unique warming chocolatey sipper
super sweet pastry on the front end but then turns to an aspartame-like sweetness. Finish is overwhelmingly vanilla extract. Maybe I got a bad batch.
decadent and sweet, oak spirals add some tannins that help break up the massive beer.
super sweet - like a New Orleans ice coffeee
Intense coffee with a nice sweet vanilla finish.
Strong, chocolately, smooth
very nice taste. very strong whiskey flavor.
roasty, coffee, chocolate, rich
Rich, boozy, and sweet. What's not to like?
almost strong enough to make me forget that RBG died and let Orange Julius Caesar choose a justice who’ll roll back all her work instead of just retiring under Obama like she GOD DAMN WELL SHOULD HAVE. almost.
Not as thick as I like a stout to be, but the flavors are fantastic. Also, this beer is powerful and will knock you on your ass. (In a good way.)
a boozy bomb and a I’m sitting by a fire slow sipper
wow. strong. great flavors blended well
aged barrel bourbon beers are not always my type but this one is literally bomb, very strong yet so easy to drink, and very tasty!
Considering the whisky soaked coffee beans and oak spirals the classic milk stout quality pulls through unapologetically. Even the ABV isn’t overpowering here. Super example of what can be done with this style in the right hand.
Almost as great as RBG.
Strong and very enjoyable. great tribute to RBG.
vanilla and whiskey, they hit first. Not a thick stout by any means. After warming up a bit you ABSOLUTELY will get the coffee. very tasty beer for sure
I love the hint of whiskey.
"Very nice" and "It will get you drunk" at 16.4% ABV
the whiskey soaked coffee beans were very strong and not a good finish
this is a big beer. a bit on the sweeter side and has a warming finish. a little on the thin side.
