About This Beer
It starts as a blend of an Imperial Stout aged 35 months in Heaven Hill toasted oak bourbon barrels and in stainless. And, the brewers finished it with 120 lbs of cacao nibs from Ghana, Uganda, and Trinidad, 125 lbs of toasted Blue Diamond almond slices, and 90 lbs of marshmallows!
Tasting Notes
We’re expecting a fudgy sip that deliciously captures the essence of Rocky Road. Deep chocolate notes should cascade into creamy vanilla, caramel, and ‘mallow, with rich nutty undertones deepening the flavors. And we’re looking forward to the lingering notes of wood char and top shelf whiskey we’ve come to expect from this stellar barrel program!
