About This Beer
To craft this “half dark” brew, the brewers started with a base of Czech floor malted pilsner malt, dark malt, and caramalts. Then they balanced it with additions of Czech Sladek and Saaz Hops before aging it for three weeks in their Brooklyn foeder.
Tasting Notes
Complex nuances of bread crust, hazelnut, and toffee lead into whispers of plum and a satisfying herbal bitterness. Delicate notes of vanilla and toasted marshmallow round it out in oaky sophistication.
