About This Beer
Mason Ale Works crafted it by aging a roasty Pastry Stout in Willett Rye barrels for over 24 months, imbuing the brew with nuances of whiskey caramel. Additions of Guatemalan cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla gave the sip silky ripples of dark chocolate and cream.
Tasting Notes
Every inky sip cruises in on deeply fudgy flavors so smooth and charming that the powerful 14.5% ABV might slip right past you. As it warms, oaky vanilla and earthy floral notes bloom, along with a hint of dried cherry.
