About This Beer
Head brewer Gabe Fletcher and his crew aged a malty Double Dark Ale for 35 months in barrels that once held Willett Rye, 15-year 1792 Bourbon, Calumet Farms bourbon, and Bernheim Original wheat whiskey.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had the chance to try this beauty yet, but we’re anticipating complex layers of roasty malts accented by nuances of crème brûlèe, dark fruit, and boozy oak. And knowing this team, the 18% ABV will go down as smooth as silk, all wrapped in a velvety body.

Fantastic dark ae. Tastes like a solid barrel aged stout. Straight to the point with the barrel flavor being the main ingredient.
