really does taste like french toast. excellent beer, and a fun unique flavor profile
Really great maple notes. Solid brown ale.
want to drink this every morning with breakfast!
Tastes like French toast for sure, just wish it were creamier
tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch! lol want to try this in a float with a good French vanilla ice cream 😗
straight up french toast drenched in syrup. I liked it a lot the first half, then it just got to be a lot.
Drink it very cold. Good overall flavor.
Strong French toast after taste. Definitely tastes like a beer with some French toast notes.
Reminds me of old school Funky Buddha! Nice level of roast and malt, pleasant touch of maple. Sweetness subdued and appropriate for style. I’m a fan.
The beautiful french toast aroma leads to sweet, refreshing flavor. Perfectly pulled off as a brown ale
Love the maple flavor. A sweet + flavorful brown ale!
more of a syrup smell more than a flavor but you can feel the stickiness on your lips. not very thick but very good for a Sunday brunch
I’ve never had a breakfast beer before…. and I am not mad that I did. it tastes like the 90s waffle cereal (I know it’s supposed to be French toast). Simply magical and easily the best French toast or breakfast beer I’ve ever had. I will need more.
maple flavors for days. well balanced with the brown ale.
was not sure about this one when I ordered it but would drink it again! very drinkable.
nope. not my jam.
Exactly what it says it is. Spot on.
Had this with breakfast and while it went down smooth it left me wanting a sweet tinge to that dark brown ale, and while the flavors of toast and batter came thru, a lack of maple syrup really hindered the overall enjoyment of this Ale
my fear if it being to sweet was not reality. thankfully. this was a very nice beer with mild sweetness that complimented the notes of syrup, roasted malt and some spice.
definitely tastes like french toast. wish if was a little thicker tho. Interesting beer for sure.
sweet and lots of maple
Light maple at the start. Reasonable bitterness later.
Lots of maple syrup in the nose with just a hint of cinnamon. Sweet, syrupy flavors with more spice and tastes of really nice, roasty, malt. Sweet, maple finish. Perfect for a cool, mountain evening.
