About This Beer
The master brewers at Colorado’s River North excel at crafting big, bold Belgian brews. And this Tripel is no exception. That by itself would be exciting enough, but the crew also let the showstopping ale mature for six months in barrels that previously held whiskey, then honey, then more whiskey!
Tasting Notes
Time spent maturing in those casks infused the brew with brilliant layers of tannic oak, honey sweetness, and top shelf spirits. And that unique cask character plays incredibly well against the hints of clove and pear coming off the base beer.
