About This Beer
To make it, the crew took fresh Vogel Orchard peaches and threw them on the grill until they were golden brown and just beginning to char around the edges. They added the fruit a young Farmhouse Ale and let it re-ferment to dryness. Then, right before bottling, they added in-house toasted cinnamon sticks and ground whole green cardamom seeds before naturally conditioning in bottles and kegs.
The succulent notes of caramelized stone fruit blend beautifully with the bright tartness from the base Saison, while the light charring adds a subtle smokiness that masterfully complements the juicy overtones. Warming spice and floral accents linger on the palate, making for a finish that’s simultaneously complex and refreshing.
