Its not fair how good this is
5 stars every time... unreal
More please can I have more
In the end this will be endlessly perfect
Great blend and well balanced for the style.
Only a dbag would rate this under 5
Very sweet and decadent. Should be shared since it’s so rich
Raisins stone fruit choc
Chocolates and full bodied. Ages well and perfect after about 18 months that cuts down the sweetness in a good way.
Really great barrel character
One of the better beers I’ve ever had.
Absolutely delicious blend of barleywine and stout. Definitely sweet but well balanced and not overly syrupy
This was so good I saved the bottle.
Super yummy. Not like anything else
Wow. Date and dried figs and vanilla and butter and wow.
This beer is super super tasty. It pours thick, but not syrupy. Furthermore, the beer is sweet, but not cloying. The oak lends a beautiful balance to the adjuncts. For me, this beer is just a tad too dense. I think a slightly thinner body would fatigue my tastebuds less.
This is one of the best blends I have ever had.
So good. A great beer to share.
Magnificent!! Loved it. An instant classic from ABC
One of the beers that made me open a Tavour account. This beer is killer
Very decadent and sweet!
Very sweet but great
Great body. Good head. Lots of bourbon
Idk how to explain this other than you have to try it to believe how good this is.
Sweet, borderline stout...that’s a good thing
Best of both worlds.
Great aspect, very thick, opaque, heavy, great legs. The foam is silky smooth, creamy. It has aromas of raisins, stone fruit, vinous, molasses, vanilla, burned wood and caramel. The taste is very sweet but not too much, vanilla, raisins, caramel, burned toast, bourbon. Great combination, it's a slow sipper!
Anchorage is doing great things. More stout than Barleywine, but this will age well. Delicious!
Perfect blend of stout and Barleywine
This brew is freaking amazing. You gotta be quick to get your hands on it when Tavour adds it too.
If you are into rich stouts...this one is the perfect choice. Not too sweet. Barrel is just enough to add character but is not overpowering at all. So well balanced you know the Brewmaster shed a tear when this was first tasted. The mouthfeel is creamy and soft. Save this for a special celebration. You will not be disappointed.
Very good ba barleywine but in my non biased opinion this isnt in the 5.0 league. Mouthfeel isn't world class and it's a little on the sweet side. For its price tag it needs to be darned near perfect and it isn't.
Great blend of stout and Barleywine, flavors definitely lean more strong ale, a little bit sweet
