About This Beer
The brewers barrel aged this beauty three separate times. They started with a rich, cocoa-y base before aging it in Willett bourbon barrels for 9 months. Next, they transferred it to rum barrels for an additional 16 months, then moved it again, this time for a 9 month stay in maple bourbon barrels. Then they rested the brew for nine more months on three types of vanilla: Comoros, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu volcanic vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Every decadent quaff of this beauty cascades with velvety mocha, creme brûlée, and oaky vanilla tones. Hints of brown sugar and barrel spice swirl throughout, further obscuring the 14.8% ABV.
