About This Beer
The brewers at Kuhnhenn added American long-grain rice in the mash to create a super dry fermentation process, subduing any malt sweetness and highlighting the intense citrus flavors from boatloads of hops.
Tasting Notes
Huge aromas of lemon zest, juicy peaches, and citrus overflow from the bubbly, bright straw-yellow pour. The first sip sends a wave of pine resin and grapefruit pith over the palate for a bite of bitterness that is quickly balanced by melon sweetness. Slight grassy and floral notes linger for a refreshingly light body — just watch out for the sneaky 9.5% ABV!

12 oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour, fizzy head. Aroma is hoppy and lghtly fruity. Taste brings smooth malts with a huge hoppy bite. Light orange, minimally sweet. Bitterness stays on the palate. Sublime, smooth and strong.

A fantastic beer. A wonderful dank dry bitter flavor that hits you hard up front but mellows out at the end. Would love to see more of these double rice IPAs.

This was a little disappointing. I was excited by the description and ordered 2, but this is a weak IPA. way too sweet, not hoppy, not citrusy.
