About This Beer

Leonardo da Vinci is the OG multi-hyphenate. This renaissance man did it all, from painting to science to inventing. Okay, so he never tried his hand at acting (I bet he could've done it!), but he improved the CATAPULT.

The crew at Mortalis has taken up da Vinci’s renaissance spirit with Double Catapult DIPA, an Imperial retooling of their initial foray into IPAs.

Tasting Notes

This new version of their classic brew still features the complementary blend of Citra and Centennial Hops. A piney, sharp aroma barrels out of each can, while a floral dankness wraps around succulent, juicy citrus fruit until every last drop of hop is squeezed onto the palate. Only this time, each soft sip belies an 8% ABV.

definitely deceiving for an 8% ABV beer because it went down a lot smoother than expected. Definitely very hazy from start to finish but a nice balance of fruit tones throughout
