About This Beer
To make it, the craft masters at Fonta Flora let their thick-bodied base rest for 24 months in freshly-emptied, hand-selected Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels, and transferred it to Heaven Hill barrels for an additional 12 months. Then they conditioned it on a blend of house-toasted pistachio and vanilla.
On the sip, notes of dark chocolate cascade into crème brûlée. Rich, nutty undertones expertly complement the sweetness while oaky-whiskey nuances linger on the palate long after the silky finish, obscuring the boozy 15% ABV.
