Czech Dark Lager is one of my absolute favorite styles, and Equilibrium is one of my absolute favorite breweries. So it should come as no surprise that I freaking LOVE Doppler. 

Luckily for me (and you) they just sent us a stash of their latest batch!

Each rich, roasty sip beautifully expresses the Bohemian Pils, Bohemian dark, caramunich, and carafa malts in this midnight-hued pour. To top it off, the brewers carefully added a dose of Saaz Hops.

Look for smooth coffee nuances mingling with baker’s chocolate, mild grassy bitterness, and hints of rye bread. And it all comes packed into a body so smooth and approachable, you won’t know whether you should drink it as a nightcap or while working up a sweat out in the yard.

The obvious answer is ‘both!’

You might also want one right after work. And with dinner. And maybe while you watch some Netflix after that. Anytime, really — with a beer this deliciously complex yet incredibly crushable, it’s always the right moment to pour yourself a pint.
