A Note on This Beer
Hop Escape: A lineup of Idaho 7, Citra, and Strata make for an NEIPA brimming with notes of ripe apricot, orange citrus, and resinous pine. Mellow Mouthfeel: Super soft and smooth! New Find: This is the FIRST beer we’ve managed to get our hands on from Meier’s Creek Brewing!
Most New York beer drinkers stick to city streets, where there are almost as many pints as people. But, the truly adventurous head way upstate to the Finger Lakes, all the way to a farm brewery nestled outside the small village of Cazenovia.
This is Meier’s Creek Brewing Co., and it’s one worthy addition to your “destination brewery” bucket list. Their tree-lined, 22-acre property is like a nature-cradled retreat where you can kick back next to a fire pit while you sip a masterfully crafted brew. Like today’s Diplomatic Strategery IPA!
Originally a one-off, the brewers brought this one back because it was such a hit. No surprise there — every sip is an outdoorsy escape of its own! Pouring pillowy and hazy, this brew boasts gentle waves of fruit and pine. There’s even a soft whisper of black tea on the backend, right before a final note of wild berry.
It’s only a matter of time before all of the Northeast’s craft fans discover the tucked-away treasure that is Meier’s Creek. But for now, you can cut the line and get a first-hand taste of the brewers’ craftsmanship right here.
The regional experts at Syracuse.com note that Meier’s Creek is only a year old and is already forging a brewing empire!
