About This Beer
To craft it, the NY craft deities at Mortalis teamed up with friends at Rekt Brewing. They started with a rich base before layering it with coconut and vanilla. Then they got really wild and conditioned the brew on tiger nuts — stripped root tubers with an almond or coconut-like flavor.
Tasting Notes
Every sumptuous swig is like biting into a chocolate-dipped macaroon, with silky cascades of cocoa and colada cream coursing throughout. Hints of espresso and burnt caramel add a rich sophistication, further obscuring the 10% ABV.

Have not had tiger nuts before, and they lend this stout pleasant nutty complexity. Sweet, with hints of coconut on the front, but the body is dominated by the tiger nuts and leaves a trailing bitterness on the aftertaste.I don't taste the 10%.
Would I have this again? Probably not, but it was worth having once.
