Dessert Cart - S'mores
A Note on This Beer
Great s’mores are all about the chocolate.
Really! Too dark or dense melts frustratingly slow, while too thin or sugary runs all over your hands. You gotta find that sweet spot in the middle — milk chocolate that merges with your marshmallow into ooey gooey delight.
You can skip browsing the candy aisle though, because Mountains Walking already did the work! Plus, their Pastry Stout rendition comes with a sly 10.5% ABV!
The esteemed Montana brewers crafted Dessert Cart - S’mores with real graham crackers, then conditioned it on mounds of roasted cacao nibs! And, to make sure all that cacao achieved the ideal milk chocolate character, they wove in a ribbon of creamy lactose!
Wondering just how close they got it to an expertly-made s’mores treat straight off the campfire? Check out what Mountains Walking superfan @Austin M. says: “Damn near perfection. Wow wow wow.”
Mountains Walking’s Dessert Cart series consists of rotating Pastry Stouts brewed in limited batches. We don’t know when, or if, we’ll see S’mores again!

Chocolate, Marshmallow, Graham Cracker.
chocolatey! pretty thick but so good
Like George Washington crossing a frigid river of chocolate with frozen marshmallow chunks in a graham cracker boat. Epic. Rich. REVOLUTIONARY.
tastes almost exactly like Hershey’s chocolate syrup. very good but too rich to drink the whole thing - definitely a beer to share.
You have to drink this one ice, ice cold. Anything less than ice cold completely changes the flavor. Its bitter almost like a dark chocolate bitter. You can definitely taste the graham cracker and chocolate flavor but not enough marshmallow.
one of the better s’mores beers out there. the marshmallow comes through nicely without tasting artificial.
reminds me of s’mores , low bitterness a perfect dessert stout A+
Smells like brownie batter, tastes like chocolate syrup and finishes with marshmallow. Sweet, decadent, and tasty. This really is dessert in a can.
Great smell (really smells of smores), brown color. Strong initial chocolate taste but has a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Marshmallow taste is faint and didn't really get any graham cracker taste in mine. Wanted to like this one more but not something I see myself coming back to. If you're a smores fan, it may be worth a try but wouldn't go out of your way for it.
it was almost better room temp then cold. thick, chocolate, but delicious!
Didn't get to this one on time. it tasted good but got flat on me unfortunately
Love this one, but my all time favorite is the hazelnut dessert cart.
Really sweet but a damn good pastry stout, would check out this brewery again for sure
best s'mores beer I've had. thick, smooth and hits all the s'mores flavors.
Really nice as it warms up a bit. Great balance.
wow. I couldn’t even finish it and I tried, but that taste was so …😖 this is a hard no for me and I was hesitant on trying a dark stout, and this is why 😅
Way too sweet for me, almost like a syrup
This one was very good. tastes like dark chocolate.
Just okay. Sweet and sticky.
Great flavors. Cheers.
very indulgent taste. chocolaty smore goodness !!
the best chocolate, delicious, dessert beer I have had! soooo good! smooth, sweet and savory all in one mouth full.
lots of chocolate flavor taste just like s'mores
best s’mores yet - super chocolatey
very sweet, deep and tasty, excellent
Party in my mouth
liquid tootsie roll
Thick- good flavor
Delicious pastry stout. Graham, marshmallow and chocolate are all there. Sweet, which is how I like these.
delicious, chocolate, sweet, smooth. Just the smell of it is amazing. Nice at room temperature.
Strong initial chocolate taste, but with a strange aftertaste.
Amazing! Everything you’d expect from S’mores. Chocolate, Vanilla, Grahm cracker. All good in this one.
solid flavor with smooth taste. not dripping sweetness.
very chocolatey and pretty thick! a little too rich for me.
don’t waste your time with others, hands down the best s’mores beer out there!
chocolatey and smooth. loved this one!
This one is delicious, don't get me wrong, but it didn't scream s'mores to me. Very dark, rich chocolate and smooth and creamy from the marshmallows. Didn't get much graham cracker.
tasty smores stout
