About This Beer

The Skookum crew crafted this show stopper with a blend of English and German malts for a deep, rich character. A touch of cherry wood smoked malt adds woody complexity alongside 14 months spent in Willet and Woodinville whiskey barrels.

Tasting Notes

Immense aromas of sticky toffee, roasted marshmallow, and charred oak perfume the air with each pour.

The taste is like escaping to the study for a sip of brandy while sinking into a favorite, well-worn leather armchair. Cascades of caramel drizzled dates, brown sugar, and vanilla oak course through every chewy quaff. Wisps of smoke and whiskey spice carry underneath with a warm 11.5% ABV.

If you like em complex, this is for you. Typical fig and plum notes BUT SO MUCH MORE. The barrel character shine through adding smoked cherry and a touch of tobacco leaves. The finish is exquisite and lingering. A pure enjoyment start to finish.
