A Note on This Beer

I used to steal Cuties oranges from my sibling’s lunches. I couldn’t help myself!

I still can’t! Every bite bursts with oodles of tangy juice — they are, quite literally, better than candy.

A bold statement, I know! Still, until I cracked into my stash of Death By Tickle DIPA from Levante, I hadn’t tasted anything that rivaled the craveworthy fruit.

The brewers stuff each batch with loads of citrus-forward Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic Hops. The result? A bodaciously boozy can of hoppy OJ, with a mango-passionfruit twist, and an ever-so-subtle splash of pine. Needless to say, I would most certainly snag this from a craft-buddy’s beer fridge if I had the chance!

Don’t get me wrong… I’m not a cold hearted thief. Just a hop-juice obsessed craft fan that can’t resist a dang good beer. Especially if it reminds me of my childhood shenanigans!

Sweet, bright mango and passion fruit on the nose. Pours a deep golden, with a creamy mouthfeel. Loads of tropical notes with a pleasant sweetness, finishing resinous. Very smooth for 10%

I had two of these. The first was a nice take with a clear essence of aperol that nicely balanced the sweetness. I’d give that beer a 4/5. The second can, had a few weeks later, had fallen off a ton and was far flatter. I’d give that one a 3/5. So this beer gets a 3.5/5 from me, I guess,

The sweetness sort of hits you over the head. It’s a mango pineapple dark danko festival that unfortunately pours a tad flat. Tasting the APV personally, but it’s way behind that sugar rush.

This was gorgeous. One of my favorite TIPAs I've ever had the pleasure of trying. Juicy, hazy, sweet. Grapefruit notes up front with mango notes on the back end. So smooth you'd think it's closer to 5% without reading the can!

Daily corona battle. Dinner run edition. Supremely sweet and smooth. Sticky hop candy that finishes remarkably clean. Hides the ABV with no harshness or booziness.

I bought three I wish I had more. I need to go to the brewery every beer that I have from here it’s so good. They even have this brewery at the Phillies baseball stadium when I was visiting and the beer was amazing

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves IPAs and according to him it was "really good and fruity" and "a little sweeter than he expected". Lol wish he was more detailed about it but there ya go.
