About This Beer
To make this beloved annual release, the Indiana crew started with a blend of roasted and Belgian artisanal malts. They added candi sugar, then bolstered the brew with silky vanilla beans. Finally, they aged the brew in bourbon barrels, adding spirited nuances and smoothing the body to a plush, satiny finish.
Tasting Notes
To take a sip is to dive headfirst into an ocean of dark chocolate and roasty espresso tones. Hints of caramel and toffee peer around the edges, along with a subtle note of oak. The big 12.3% abv adds just a touch of warmth to the finish, but you’ll barely notice it behind lingering ripples of vanilla.
