DDH Vince Vega
Junkyard Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
I don’t think a single person has a bad thing to say about Vince Vega.
Not the Vincent Vega from the cult film Pulp Fiction. He wasn’t ALWAYS the most likeable guy. But, the Vince Vega from Junkyard Brewing? Now, that’s a different story.
Fans all over Minnesota do backflips for this citra-licious juicebomb. Across the internet, they say things like, “So. Freakin’. Good. I could drink this nonstop. Forever. GREAT beer!”
Now, for the first time ever, Junkyard Double Dry Hopped Vince Vega for even MORE deliciousness!
The Minnesota craft masters at Junkyard brewed this new batch with 100% Citra Hops, lending endless layers of ripe mandarins and fleshy peaches to each sip. A thick and pillowy mouthfeel carries those juicy notes alongside flavors of Meyer lemon, dried orange peel, and a finishing touch of pithy bitterness.
This sweet hop nectar does have a tough side — the brewers concealed a sneaky 8.1% ABV behind all that flavor!
So, while you might be singing praises over its Citra-blasted potency, just be careful you don’t lap the juice up out of these jumbo-sized 750ml cans as zealously as Jules Winnfield slurps down other peoples’ sodas. Things could get messy.

25.4 oz can from Tavour. Orange yellow body, small white creamy head, streaky lacing. Aroma is light citrus and white bread. Taste brings sweet, juicy flavors with a soft tangy flavor, citrus peel. A touch of peach and pear, very faint. Creamy, velvety.
It's even better since they tripled that shit! Junkyard never seems to disappoint.
First JY under a '4' for me. Odd palate and finish. Not as complex (interesting) as their other offerings.
This reminds me of the IPAs we have here in Richmond VA, and we have some incredible breweries here.
Lots of citra hops!
Great beer! Citrusy but not over bearing and very smooth
Citrusy and super smooth. Tough to tell this is a double. Super easy drinking.
Absolutely citrus/white bread and smooth as silk !
A buddy and I really enjoyed this one. Such a great beer!!
Tropical, juicy, papaya and peach. Very refreshing.
Think I left the can in a warm cabinet too long, lingering sour, unpleasant aftertaste after the initial good flavor
4.15 I would give it more but it was too much orange rinds to me but it is still a solid IPA citrus rind flavor is dominant
Nice tropical undertones and strong enough to put some hair on my chest.
Have to agree with a few folks on this one. I Sialkot rate junkyard brews well above 4.0. This one underperformed.
Smooth and crisp. Great IPA. Not really hazy either. Can definitely crush this guy.
Very nice, smooth not bitter
Solid beer, giant can, cool name. Standard for Junkyard
Tasty brew wish I had two
