These guys seem to hit it out of the park with every brew they have. Just have to find a way to get more!
Great flavor and texture of the beer
The most I drank this, the more I got this weird aftertaste that was not pleasant. The 1st sip was great and it went downhill.
Citra for days
Wow. Smashing job guys. Delicious hoppy fluff water. Tropical, 🍍 pineapple and lightly bitter.
Sawdust made from flower petals; The finish is crisp and dirty, like the studio floor after an energetic painting session; The can is made to be grasped by soiled hands, caked with grase from bike work, or soot, or soil from the garden; Splotched. This sitch is wet, then it cracks like cosmic grapefruit, bursting bitter chewy lightning bolts spitting and zigzagging out at odd angles; It makes you smack your lips, pucker up and make that singlular "smooch" sound like your tongue is Velcro, torn from the roof of your mouth; It's aggressively funky, hazy like a skunk crossed with a billy goat chowing down on old cans and newspaper, like the parents in Gregory the Terrible Eater by Mitchell Shamat. "How about a nice box, a piece of rug, and a bottle cap?" There's absolutely nothing passive here. The flavor is a call to action: Get up, go, get out there and dooo something!! Hike a mountain, paint a fence, help your friends move their old sofa; get some grime on your hands and some sweat on your brow; grunt, and heave, and overcome that urge to stay sedentary. Live a little.
This is a fine, if not particularly noteworthy NE IPA. Mouthfeel is on point--creamy and smooth. Malt backbone is solid, nothing wrong there. Hop flavor is predominantly dank stone fruits. This could use a punch of fresh citrus flavor to help cut through some of the muddled hazy notes, but there isn't too much to complain about here. This beer is certainly on the heavier side, but it is free of weird off notes present in many hazy IPAs. Also somewhat more bitter than others in the category. Good brew.
Not fresh. Can’t be mean. From December 12/23/2020. Thats so long ago! That lovely old beer taste. I wonder what it tasted like before. Or it’s just bad after that anchorage. Or could be both ! Having again later and it’s not bad. So maybe it was bc I had it second to anchorage.
Kind of different taste really good yummy
Citra Sultana pineapple and citrus juice bomb.
These could be dangerous. Good thing I only got two! Delicious.
Really nice Citra forward IPA. Lots of pineapple and tangerine.
So good. Juicy, balanced, flavor explosion.
Canned 12/23/20 opened 03/07/21. I’d love to try this one fresh... it’s still drinkable but it’s grassy vs juicy.
Really intriguing nose, somewhat floral/spicy and not as hoppy as expected. Solid DDHIPA!
Niiiiiiice one Minnesota is doing their thing ! Full of smooth flavor not heavy once it goes down !!!!
Nose is 10/10; big, floral & hoppy. Pours opaque hazy straw, w/decent head. Smooth mouthfeel. On the palate, pine, grapefruit, tropical & subtle earthy notes. Quite complex, flavorful & robust; but still smooth & wonderfully crushable even at 8.5ABV.
Classic DDH flavors.
Pine -n- Pineapple. Bit o’ Bitter
Super hazy with a little floral kick.
Super hoppy on the first sip but nice and fruity after that! We liked it a lot!
Lots of juice and mild hop bitterness up front, decent hop sweetness in the back
Lingering disappointing aftertaste
Not my fav, not sure really where to begin. Kinda has a sweet and low after taste. Who’s next!
Infected. Vinegar or something on the nose. Citrus then odd taste. Poured.
Daily corona battle. #CountryLyfeProbs box delivery edition. This is super earthy hoppy double with a lingering finish.
Maybe mine was really fresh but I thought this was an absolute pineapple juicy bomb. Better than I thought it was gonna be. 4.35
That perfect taste for after a long day of work!
Can’t go wrong with modist
Smooth and thicc with notes of citrus and mango
Tasty ass DIPA
A fine beer. Nothing to write home about
Very solid IPA - lovely agrume taste and smell, but deceivingly boozy!
