Great Raft Brewing
A Note on This Beer
When the experts at The Beer Connoisseur tried the original Commotion Pale Ale, they rated it 90/100, calling its citrus and pine profile “the perfect beer for social situations.”
And that’s awesome, but under our current socially-distant circumstances, we need a beer that’s bold enough to go it alone! That’s why we’re so stoked about today’s Double Dry-Hopped Commotion Pale Ale. We have the only stash outside of the Gulf Coast!
With over 4 lbs per barrel of Citra, Cascade, and Mosaic Hops, this juicy Pale Ale brings more hop flavor than a lot of IPAs! Shimmering notes of ruby red grapefruit, ripe mango mingle with just a touch of resin on the finish — it’s got more than enough flavor to keep any hazehead entertained.
Plus, with all that bright deliciousness wrapped up in a crushable Pale Ale body, you can enjoy a couple without falling out of your hammock.
Social situations are a lot harder to come by than they were a year ago. But, whether you’re hanging out with a few buddies or flying solo, Double Dry-hopped Commotion has the intense flavor and all-day drinkability to keep you smiling.

Delicious and easy drinking. Has all the flavors of an IPA but goes down smooth and keeps you wanting more.
Hazy in color. Poured nicely in a craft pub glass. On first smell the grapefruit hits the nose, and makes you think you’re about to dive into a Zombie Dust or GFJ from Sun King. Then surprise, subtle flavors of a Pilsen malt shine through with a slightly piney finish. Very approachable and paired well with our Cajun red beans and rice!! Definitely worth a try!!
Really enjoyed this Pale Ale. At times it was a little sweet for me at the end, but still a really nice option for an IPA drinker who wants to branch out a bit
Beer was flat out of the can, don’t chance it with this brewery
