About This Beer
Originally thought up with friends at Fair State Brewing Co-op, the brewers took inspiration from Northern brewing traditions, crafting it with a rich base including German barley. Then they accented the malty tones with a mild dose of Bohemian hops.
Tasting Notes
Every coffee-black pour reveals gorgeous aromas of cocoa and pumpernickel. The taste follows with baker’s chocolate and hazelnut notes cascading into roasty tones of toasted wheat. An herbal flourish on the finish balances the sweetness in the snappy conclusion.
