Cuvee - Just Coconut (2020)
A Note on This Beer
Only 503 coconut fans will get in on our prized stash of fudgy decadence from Cycle.
No biggie right? Or, is it?!
Cycle’s Doug Dozark went from a Starbucks dessert coffee slinger to a Cigar City intern, to the founder and head brewer at one of the most sought-after Pastry Stout makers in craft!
He took the same innovative mindset he developed at Cigar City with him when he launched Cycle Brewing. Six years later, his brewery rocks an outstanding 4.22 rating on Untappd — it places them among the top 100 breweries in the world!
Today’s Cuvée - Just Coconut (2020) Imperial Pastry Stout is particularly admired by coconut fans.
The brewery dials in on the sweet, nutty blend of raw and toasted coconut. They highlight the adored fruit by adding it to a rich base beer they aged for 18-20 months in top-shelf Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels.
The result is smoother than silk, fudgier than devils food cake, and thicker than a Snickers -- or Mounds bar even.
Will you be one of the lucky 503 beer geeks to snag one? I wouldn't wait too long because to coconut fans, this brew IS a very big deal.
*This beer is too new for ratings but we predict they’ll be sky-high!

More coco than expected, greatly enjoyed it
Great barrel w/ coconut flavor
My bottle must have been infected based on other reviews here.
Good but has a raisin or prune after taste.
Very nice. Thick. Coconut.
Sweet, booze, with coconut flakes floating, big coconut head on the nose.
Not enough darn coconut!!!!!!!!!111. But the base stout was fine.
I believe this to be up there for one of the thickest beers I have ever tried. Motor oil thick, and and abundance of flavor to match. Great job cycle city, still have yet to disappoint me.
Like drinking a mounds bar!
Boozy, woodsy, cloyingly sweet, minimal coconut.
