Gotta be extra drunk to be ok with this one. Would have been fine at 8-9% any chocolate or raspberry is short lived and killed by the 12% this is litterally just that a curtain closer.
Not my favorite. I didn’t really get the raspberry or chocolate
Definitely a strong Belgian ale. Some fruity notes
Very good beer. If you let it sit for 5 minutes prior to drinking it, you really get all of the flavors at once. It’s also pretty light for being 12%.
Hides the ABV well very smooth and crisp with hints of raspberry and chocolate... haven’t had a quad that is this smooth and not boozy
Definitely get the chocolate and raspberry, but taste too much of the alcohol. Not for me.
Subtle chocolate and fruit. Hides 12% ABV really well
Strong taste of alcohol and that really it but you can sip on it
It was a very good stout, but I tasted no raspberries. We mixed it well, and definitely had a lovely coffee flavor, and some cacao. Just lacking raspberry.
Light raspberry, not getting much cocoa nibs. Hides 12% well.
Well done Quad
Rich Raspberry and Malts- Smooth finish
Smooth and delicious. Hard to tell this quad comes in at 12%. Exceptional. More Monkless Belgians please. 😊
Super strong, super tasty, super talented Monkless Monks
A little raspberry and then bitter AF. Missing the 12% ABV, too.
This did not taste as described, but I still somewhat liked it.
Very sweet and syrupy which really masks the high ABV. Raspberry and chocolate is a great combo. This one just works on every level.
Too much raspberry on a meh base quadruple. Very sweet and chewy body on a beer that could have benefitted from being a little drier and darker. It's missing a lot of delicacy and complexity that make Belgian styles so good
Definitely tasted the raspberry and cocoa nibs, I also picked up on a coffee like after taste.
Wanted a little more of the berry notes to come through.
Was pretty hyped to try this, and it was pretty intense, but was a little short of what I was hoping for
Mostly roasted malt & coffee aromas. Alot more malt & coffee on the palate with hints of dark chocolate and raspberry. Deep, chocolatey, slightly sweet, bitter finish. Never had a quintuple before, but I bet it won’t be my last one!
Very sweet and syrupy, which nicely masks the high ABV. Raspberry and chocolate is just a great combo. This one just works on every level.
Rather strong in flavor but really good
Really nice for an American brewery this young to approximate a true Belgian quad Dark fruit and booze just like a Belgian quad Sounds gimmicky in the description but I was surprised how well they delivered
