Turning Point Beer
A Note on This Beer
“The best IPA I've ever had. Only the 2nd 5.0 I’ve ever given!” @J.D.
“Soooooooo Juicy!” @Byron C.
“Strong, fruity, hazy. Careful with this one...” @Earl J.
As lucky tasters will tell you, today’s Crossfados Barbados Quadruple IPA isn’t just about the booze. It’s about massive piles of Sabro, Mosaic, and El Dorado Hops.
The insane 12.4% ABV comes wrapped in flavors of tangy tangerine and ripe pineapple. A bit of pithy grapefruit on the finish balances against malty sweetness, and those fruity flavors linger long after the sip. It’s like a freshly squeezed OJ with a pineapple twist!
But, if you’re lucky enough and fast enough to score one of these cans, take your time sippin’! You might not be able to taste much booze, but trust us, it’s in there!

The best IPA I've had in a long time. Please get this back on for sale.
Awesome tasting IPA would definitely buy again
Horrible can of beer. Tasted like it was just diluted sugar in water. Bottom of the can was clumped up horrid masses. Color was nothing like in the photo. Awful tasting can of beer.
Heavily hoppy - very good.
Unbelievable! Does not burn as I would expect 12.4% to… and full of flavor!
Strong hoppy flavor, hard to taste the fruitiness others describe.
Leans a bit sweet from ElDo/Sabro combo, but also really nice juicy tropical flavors.
Smooth, juicy, malty sweet, pineapple tropical fruit taste. A really good quad.
Very smooth, wish I got 2!
Hazy, juicy, citrusy aromas, big, boozy, sweet, notes of tropical fruits, vague Coconut, Orange, Pineapple, juice. A serious beer.
Amazing so smooth for 12.4%...tropical taste..wish I bought more
16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour with a creamy white head. Soft citrusy aroma with light tropical accents. Taste introduces some dank flavors, sweet, creamy, almost milky, zesty bitter bite at the finish. Alcohol warmth becomes apparent late.
Quite a memorable quadruple IPA. This beer is bursting with pineapple flavor, with some orange and a hint of coconut at the end. Really sweet and hoppy with a texture somewhere between creamy and milky. An excellent QIPA.
Pretty tasty. Not too hoppy even with the high abv
Tastes very thick, very bad flavor. I wonder if this beer became skunked in transit. I would never order this again, especially at $9 per can. I’m disappointed that I bought two
Peach flesh, mango mango mango! So juicy and sweet, borders on ridiculousness. Mouthfeel is unreal.
Wayyyyyyyy too sweet
Nice pineapple and stone fruit flavors. A little sweet but hides the ABV well.
Good beer! Not a huge fan of the IPA but this one was enjoyable.
Lots of citrus, very easy to drink. I’m a Turning Point fan now.
Okay, but very sweet
Wonderfully smooth, great juicy flavor, the only reason I don’t give a 5 is because of how high the ABV is!
Big floral nose. Pours hazy apricot w/minimal head. Smooth mouthfeel. On the palate, mango, pineapple, peach, tangerine & grapefruit. Quite sweet and noticeably boozy (12.4ABV). Low bitterness. The booziness isn’t too bad, but way sweeter than I prefer.
Party in my mouth
