About This Beer
The Garagiste team used plenty of boysenberries, marionberries and black mulberries to add tangy complexity to the sweet base. Then they added vanilla beans and Vermont maple syrup to recall a stack of golden waffles.
Tasting Notes
The result is lusciously fruity, with hints of sticky syrup intertwined with the honey sweetness of the base Mead. Vanilla makes for a smooth, almost creamy finish that lingers long on the taste buds. Just be careful if you intend to serve it alongside brunch — this sweet sip packs a whopping 14% ABV!
