About This Beer
"Cigarettes and coffee, man, that's a combination.” Iggy Pop to Tom Waits in Coffee and Cigarettes
Now, I’m not saying drinking today’s lightly smoked porter will make you as cool as two iconic music legends having a conversation in a dimly lit cafe. But I’m not not saying it either.
Tasting Notes
You’ll certainly feel pretty cool once you taste how the German beechwood smoked malts complement the English malts to create flavors of smoke-kissed fudge. Or how they meld amazingly with mocha tones imparted from two pounds of Sightglass Colombian Finca la Granada coffee.

It’s just a hint of smoke not overdone at all just adding complexity. The actually base porter though rocks it’s
robust and the coffee and chocolate flavors or rich letting you know this is a quality beer worth drinking !

Thick espresso head, smoked malt aroma with a hint of ashtray, sweet dark roasted coffee taste with chocolate notes, creamy. Great can art!

Major coffee flavor with just a touch of smoke. This one didn’t blow me away but it was still a solid porter.
