About This Beer
The team began this year’s vintage with a blend of two Imperial Stouts. One aged in a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel for 12 months, while the other spent those same 12 months maturing in a Weller Wheated bourbon barrel. Then they conditioned it on over 21 lbs/ bbl of coconut — a third of it toasted for extra depth.
Tasting Notes
Nutty, chocolate-dipped macaroon aromas lead you into fudgy notes of cocoa, colada cream, and hazelnut biscotti in each velvety taste. Barrel tones accentuate the decadent pastry nuances with hints of oaky vanilla and whiskey spice.
