About This Beer
Starting with a velvety soft Stout base, the U.S. Open Beer Championship gold medalists added “mountains of freshly-toasted coconut, loads of cacao nibs, and thousands of Madagascar vanilla beans.”
The result is a top-notch dessert brew so complex, it must be deeply savored in order to appreciate its full range of luscious decadence.
Tasting Notes
Subtly sweet caramel and lavish vanilla aromas waft from the rim. Added cacao and coconut fuse with the dark, roasty malts, mimicking all the flavors of chocolate liqueur drizzled over rich and creamy coconut ice cream.

Incredible mouthfeel. Very smooth and velvety. Chocolate and coconut really linger on the palette. One sweet treat.

I prefer this over a pie in the face every day

Just right balance. Not too sweet. Not too bitter. Got good flavor. A good stout to come home to after long day at work. -1 star because I could hardly taste coconut and it doesn’t taste like what Tavour say it will.
2.0
🤮 I was hoping for more of a “coconut pie” taste. That was not the case. More of a coffee beer.
4.5
Delicious. Surprisingly smooth given the ABV.
4.0
Very sweet but delicious. Wish it tasted more like coconut, but still a nice smooth stout.

Very good

Strong coconut and cacao flavor, very tasty

Sweeter than expected. You do get all of the notes described just a tad on the sweet side. Great stout

Taste like you are eating a snowball so good

My first non IPA from them, bought solely on their IPA reputation and they didn’t disappoint.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, just a few bubbles, still. Aroma is toasted coconut, chocolate, roast malts. Taste is sweet, dark chocolate, more coconut, hint of vanilla and the roast malts show up as tiny bitter bite at the finish. Mildly dry.

Dark, German Chocolate Cake aroma, thick, sweet Chocolate, nutty Coconut, almost Almond, and Vanilla. Good job Revision!

This was so delicious! I wish I brought more….

One of the best beers that I have ever had. Nuttiness, chocolate, and vanilla all stand out.

Good! There’s something off though…

A tad sweet. But asides from that, pretty decent Imperial Stout

Very rich and no over powering flavors. Smooth finish.

Great flavor but very boozy

Feel like a candy bar. What’s the one? Mounds bar? That’s what it is. Very good but not a knock out of the park
4.5
Definitely worth drinking!! Reminds me of a Prairie Artisan Ale style beer.
4.5
excellent pastry stout, great adjuncts and super creamy

Very strong aromas of fudge and coffee. Can taste fudge and the coconut. Medium milkshake body. Not really detecting any vanilla beans, though, which is disappointing. Pretty good, but I wanted some vanilla.
4.5
Chocolate almond goodness, the toasted coconut in this is insane, heavy chocolate upfront, smooth vanilla finish, tastes almost identical to an almond joy

Coconut cream pie with chocolate ganache

Delicious but a bit on the sweet side

Dark chocolate coconut decadence to the max. Like melted Bounty Chocolate bars turned into a beer. It’s exactly what it says it is, but the richness was a little too much for me and I couldn’t finish the last sip. There is a really fine line between being too bitter and too sweet with a beer like this, and this was a tiny bit too sweet. I definitely prefer that to being too bitter, but I think slightly less sweetness would really help this beer reach the perfect balance.

nice coconut but didn’t like alcohol on the finish

First non-IPA from Revision and this does not disappoint. Like drinking German Chocolate Cake.

very sweet but still good

Pronounced coconut flavor yet very smooth with hints of cacao and vanilla. Very tastey

Very good. Nice smooth stout with heavy coconut finish.

Almond Joy all the way! This is my ideal mix of flavors. I don't even know how this beer wouldn't get a perfect grade down to the decimal. Creamy yet easy to drink without feeling too full. Great clean package design. Give me more on Tavour please, I will buy it all up.

Wow that is an amazing stout. The cacao comes through strong in the flavor up front, while the vanilla and coconut hang around in the finish. Fantastic aroma.

Ordered 16 oz can, from Tavour, chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: dark black, tan finger sized head that dissipated leaving a small tan foam on the top, further leaving a nice tan lacing down the glass as we drank.
Smell: smells like sticky fudge, chocolate and coco notes, followed by small coconut. Small roast, but mostly chocolate brownie.
Taste: sticky sweet chocolate up front, fudgey brownies, followed by coconut, vanilla and roast. Booze is well hidden behind the flavors (11% ABV). No hop presence.
Feel: fully body, light tickle of carbonation, syrupy, somewhat drying.
Such a good beer. If you like stouts that put the flavors together in chocolatey ways, this is your beer. This is exactly what is advertised on the can. Fudge is sooooo good! Even though the coconut is the first on the label, the fudge is the front runner. The coconut comes in much later but it’;s presence makes the fudge possible. Seriously savor this one. Such a good beer.

I’d have this one again

Pleasantly sweet and easy to drink, not big on stouts but this is closer to the ideal one i could drink.

Aroma: freshly-toasted coconut and bakers chocolate. Taste: cacao nibs, vanilla, and of course sweet coconut. Rich, sweet, solid.
4.25
Very smooth and the coconut isn’t too strong, a very nice, sweet pastry stout.
4.5
Complex and flavorful. Great dark beer!
4.5
Super sweet. Can hardly notice the ABV

Very tasty but had a little bit too much of an alcoholic burn. Would’ve loved a lot more coconut.
