Wired flavor, tastes like water
A good sipping beer.
This was delicious. It smelled lightly of cocoa pebbles milk, tasted right away of sour berry, with the cocoa coming in at the end. It was surprisingly light and bubbly. Would definitely buy again.
Excellent Sour ! You get the fruit right off the bat and the tart, but the Cocoa blends and complements everything very well. On my watch list now !
soft blend of fruit flavors with a subtle cocoa bean finish
The fruit hits you up front and the cocoa comes right after with a sweet and full finish. Absolutely something I would get again for a sweeter beer!
Perfect fruited sour. I love the cocoa aroma this beer gives off.
Very subtle cocoa taste on the backend of berries
Look: Pours a deep ruby red, almost like red wine, with a small ring of foam around the edge. No head and no lacing. Smell: Smells fruity, like berry juice or candied dried fruit, followed by some chocolate notes and a little marshmallow. Smells delicious! Taste: Taste follows the smell. Light sour up front, fruity (not sure we get all the fruit they list, no lime, no lemon and grapefruit is a stretch... orange is there, raspberry and blueberry are the bulk of the flavor), trailing notes of cocoa, then far trailing marshmallow that go on for a while. No booze (7.9) and no hop presence. Feel: Light and refreshing, light tickle of carbonation that doesn’t hang out while the beer warms. Prairie is always an interesting beverage... we got this one because of the fruity coco vibe they describe and this beer is exactly as described minus the differentiation of the lime and lemon. The coco and raspberry/blueberry mix is interesting (chocolate covered fruit flavors). A lot of the Prairie beers are boozy, but this one was light and refreshing. Cheers everyone.
This is just plain odd. I mean it tastes EXACTLY like they said it would. The flavor is so much like a chocolate/raspberry pastry it’s unreal. I ain’t mad at it
Chocolate not my favorite in a sour. Nice try.
Smells like a chocolate raspberry torte. Sour, bright and sweet with a bit of marshmallow and chocolate. This one is weird and complex and I really like it.
Wiley amazing. Cocoa nibs were heavy in the aftertaste and this is a must next time it comes around.
I don’t know what magic Prairie is doing behind the scenes, but it works. Another amazing sour.
Cocoa and berries. Pretty good
I rated this based on how well they executed what they wanted to do, according to the name of the beer. Pretty spot on imo. For my taste though, while I LOVE chocolate, especially in a stout, I’m not a fan of it in a sour. If you think you might be, give it a shot, Prairie doesn’t make bad beer.
This one is just ok. I’ve had much better from them.
In the end, this all melds into something that tastes bitter, but sour, where the chocolate overrides any berry flavor peeking through.
Pefect level of chocolate and marshmallow. I love it
Good tasting beer.
Great smell with a nice berry flavor
Tastes like I’m drinking both cocoa and fruity pebbles at once!
Excellent yogurt taste to it almost like an Italian soda. Love it
Super yummy.... it’s a def slow sipper, tons of flavor
Nice crisp, fruity flavor with cocoa after-tones. Definitely a beer to be sipped on. Really enjoyed it.
Nice berry flavor. Somewhat earthy with the cocoa
Kind of bland
Great taste sipping and sipping some more ...first beer that I can actually taste all the flavors listed ...
Nice sipping beer,
Taste like berries up front and cocoa pebbles on the back end
I wish there was more of a pronounced cacao nib flavor in the back end, but this beer is delicious.
Chocolately berry marshmello goodness! Slight tang.
Decent beer overall, but not great. Too many flavors to distinguish between each. And the cocoa seems a bit lost.
You would think with the long list of flavors of this beer that it wouldn't be good, but it's surprisingly good. Each flavor (the fruit, the cacao nibs, and the marshmallow) hits at a different time while you're drinking it
Tasted like a raspberry slushie with an after kick of chocolate. Thoroughly enjoyed.
For me, this is way too sweet for the style and not enough sour bite
Very tasty, chocolate and berry
Not as sour as most. Nice cocoa flavor kick. Kinda mellow, so could be dangerous if drinking a few! 😀
Light on the sour, but the flavor is great. Exactly as described
Seriously amazing, tasted just like a strawberry fanta. I've never slammed a beer so fast in my life haha.
Kool-Aid. Prairie Artisan Ales makes some phenomenal beers, this ain’t one.
Super rich choco flavor followed by berries YUM
Sour chocolatey flavor
You can taste the marshmallow but the flavors all together are a little odd but also not bad either.
great taste . need bigger can.
one of my favorites from Tavour and get this every time I see it
