Strong and dark, a great imperial stout if ever there was one. Autocorrect: happiness.
Like drinking a lovely mix of Hershey’s syrup and coconut cream. Hits HARD though. Make sure you drink on a full stomach because I drank mine very quickly, post workout, and almost fell over 20 minutes later when trying to stand up. 😂
Love the stouts from this brewery. Drinking a candy bar.
Strong! Really enjoyed this one.
Boozy and smooth. I'm allergic to dark beers, and this one was WORTH IT
Good heavy flavor. Very nice strong taste.
Wow! Almost too sweet to enjoy. Not terrible tho.
More cacao than anything. Coconut as a finisher isn’t to bad no harsh Liquorish aftertaste. I like.
Thick and syrupy, chocolate right away with a nutty finish. Its a sipper with its consistency for sure.
Not a coconut fan but better than expected
I know it’s coconut and vanilla, but it’s like drinking an almond joy!! Absolutely fabulous!!!
Not sure why, but the few Hubbard's Cave stouts I have had sound great from the description, but so far have been big disappointments. Don't think I'll be grabbing anymore from here.
Very thick and sweet like a chocolate and vanilla cheesecake.
For a stout you don’t taste anything but coconut which is amazing it’s not super heavy but light and steady.
Great dark chocolate flavors greet you when you start. Subtle vanilla blends in to provide a sweet note.
Like it! Tasty and creamy, coco and vanilla flavor
This is a great beer. BIG vanilla and slight coconut. Too sweet for me, but nailed the description.
A perfect stout for me. Coconut right up front with vanilla notes. Yum.
Sweet coconut vanilla, smooth taste with a bit of booziness
Very strong, absolutely amazing!
Great taste. Couldn't get past the syrupy consistency. Edit: had second can. Poured it out. Cannot drink. Too syrupy.
Think and strong beer. I think this DOES put Willy Wonka out of business. If you like think chocolate/ nut beers, this is great. Nice aftertaste
All these beers are the same this is a rip off
Too sweet, multiple people say it tastes like syrup
That was delicious
String hints of chocolate gets to you right away then turns to the coconut 🥥 and end s in a vanilla note. Not to shabby 👌
milky, heavy vanilla tones...chocolate accents....good
Personally way to much Vanilla for me but other than that was a very tasty and chocolaty stout.
Very sweet. Dark chocolate almond joy in a can. Definitely a desert beer.
Delicious. Thick. They always hide that ABV well
Very vanilla forwad with a subtle coconut in the background. I hoping for the coconut to be dialed in a little stronger but all around a very good drinkable stout for 12%.
I feel bad…I left this one sitting around for ages thinking it wouldn’t be great, and when I eventually drank it I really enjoyed it! fantastic dark beer with coconut and malt/vanilla as the prominent flavors. Despite the high alcohol content I could have had another!
coconut and vanilla are overpowered. seems like all Hubbard Cave stouts taste the same to me
Flavors come together well for a really smooth and sweet finish.
Sweet syrupy goodness, more vanilla than coconut, wish it was reversed
Like drinking a cake
Strong and tasty. It was very rich in chocolate and i would definitely share it as it’s too much for one person in one sitting.
Coconut is overbearing and it is too sweet.
Honestly very good coconut chocolate thick and sweet but very well balanced … super tasty 😋
Coq au Vin, it is not, but the coconut and vanilla pair nicely and give a creamy mouthfeel
good balance of flavors without being too cloying
Dark, German Chocolate Cake aromas, rich, thick, sweet Chocolate, big nutty Coconut, subtle Coffee, and complimentary Vanilla.
Smooth and creamy. Lots of vanilla, some chocolate, and subtle coconut flavors. Nutty and rich, but not overly sweet.
This one.... The coconut is subtle, which is good because I can't stand coconut, but the chocolate and especially vanilla flavors just POP
I typically don't like thick pastry stouts, but im a suckered for coconut so I had to give it a chance. its thick and sweet, but not in a cloying way. it's like adding sweet coconut milk to a heavy, roasty, flavorful stout. it's viscous and sweet, but surprisingly works!
A nice, thick stout from Hubbard's Cove. The coconut hits you first, followed with a creamy vanilla finish. A great end to an evening full of yard work.
Wow! Love it. Sweet, thick and juicy with lots and lots of chocolate flavor.
Party in my mouth
Hersey Chocolate in a can!! amazing
so sweet… cut that with some bourbon barrel please
Really rich, really good, I liked it!
Hubbard’s Cave makes a damn good beer and this is no exception. The Coco Van is phenomenal and always worth an order
