My wife LOVES cheesecake, especially topped with real fruit compote. So, she was absolutely over the moon when I brought home Humble Forager’s Coastal Sunset (v2) Fruited Dessert Sour — it tastes like not-too-sweet, richly decadent, cherry-topped cheesecake in a can!

Needless to say, we downed every drop after dinner the other night — it was the best dessert we’ve had in a long time! 

We cracked our cans and poured V2 into a couple of tall glasses to marvel at its bright, berry-pink color. On the nose, it smelled just like cherry flambé — tangy and fresh, but with deep notes of luscious vanilla. I’m pretty sure I heard my wife whisper, “oh my!” before we even had a sip!

And, of course, the flavor was next-level. Humble Forager crafted it with REAL cherries, graham crackers, cream cheese, vanilla beans, and marshmallow fluff for a full-on cheesecake experience. 

On the first gulp, a rush of slightly tart cherry flavor floods the palate. As it sits, swirls of subtly sweet marshmallow, warm vanilla, and tangy cream cheese notes come sweeping through for an all-out sumptuous sip. A hint of sweet and balancing graham cracker lingers on the finish, tantalizing us to keep tasting. 

As we finished our last, delicious sips, my wife clinked her empty glass against mine, and said what we were both thinking: “why didn’t you bring home more cans?"
