Clear Sky - Cinnamon Toast Brunch
Wolf's Ridge Brewing
A Note on This Beer
Back in the day, I received a VERY specific prize in exchange for good grades — an entire box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, all to myself.
That’s right! Straight A’s meant bowls of sweet, cinnamon goodness just for my own, adolescent indulgence.
So, when I heard Wolf’s Ridge Brewing was re-releasing their spice-blasted, coffee-soaked adult version of my breakfast favorite, Clear Sky Cinnamon Toast Brunch Cream Ale, I practically tripped sprinting out the door. I needed this morning delight in my beer fridge — quick!
The brewers began with their refreshing, pillowy-soft Clear Sky Cream Ale base, infused with locally sourced coffee. Afterward, they added lush waves of sweet vanilla and cinnamon spice for all the nostalgic flavors flowing from the iconic cereal.
Layers of biscuity-goodness cascades across the palate alongside ripples of rich espresso. At the taste’s end, heaps of woody spice delight the taste buds.
While hitting high marks in school is no longer a factor, a tough workday certainly warrants a glass or two of this silky sipper. It’s a true prize!
*Cinnamon Toast Brunch won GOLD at the Indiana Brewers Cup!

I didn’t but enough of this - I wish I had it on tap in my house
This was good. Very tasty, lot of cinnamon.
The coffee nearly obliterates the cinnamon and vanilla, so this tastes almost exactly like their Daybreak cream ale. On that level, it’s a disappointment.
Pretty mellow. You defined the cinnamon flavor but it’s somewhat muted although not in a bad way; helps the beer shine through
I’ve had many beers that attempt these flavors all wrapped in one, but they’ve done it best, so far. It’s not perfect, yet.
STRONG cinnamon. It’s a little overwhelming on the palate both aroma and flavor wise. The coffee is there, but takes a background note sadly.
Great beer, great flavor, but the after taste is a bit like burnt espresso. Still very delicious and much enjoyed.
Smooth, easy drinking. Tastes like I poured a cup of coffee on a cinnabon.
Smooth as can be. Taste just like it says. I'll buy more when I see it available again.
I don’t like cream ales I guess. This one tasted like burnt coffee.
I tasted the cinnamon, but was not sweet enough for the name. No coffee or vanilla notes I can taste. Ok beer. But not my rotation type.
They went a bit heavy on the coffee with this one...a bit unbalanced for me
So good it goes with your breakfast!
Not very enjoyable. Maybe a bad can or one that sat in warehouse too long?
I tasted the coffee up front and the cinnamon on the back end. Didn’t get a super creamy flavor, very very subtle.
Very very subtle cinnamon flavor. Because this is a cream ale it seems to be very mildly flavored. Hints of coffee. I've had some really nicely flavored cinnamon beers and this one is much too subtle in flavor to consider again
Flavor profile was a little overpowered by the coffee flavor but overall it was a really nice beer.
First cream ale, and it’s surprisingly good. Nice flavor and crisp. I’d drink it again
Not as strong with the flavors as I had hoped.
This one didn't do it for me. I couldn't really even finish it.
Suttle flavor. Very light.
This beer is very light in flavor. Definitely did not taste anything like a snicker doodle latte. Mouthfeel was nice.
Tastes just as advertised
Couldn't take more than 1 sip. Not good at all.
Tastes as it smells....cinnamon and coffee. Drinkable light bodied coffee with a hint of beer in the background.
The coffee notes take the back seat on this one, but definitely the best one I've had so far. Smells & tastes like a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch! The cinnamon isn't over powering, which for me, is perfect!
seasoned well with hints of toasty cinnamon. A bit on the sweeter side.
Smells just like Classic Cinnamon Roll for the Keurig but tastes alot better. Just a little burnt taste at the end. All in all I liked it!
Flat, watered down cinnamon flavor to start. Finishes like bad seltzer.
This was delicious! Everything the description spelled out and more!
Only tasted the coffee notes, and really no cinnamon. A decent ale, but not what the description promises.
