A Note on This Beer
Juice Me Up, No Boil, Baby!
Aromas: Summer-fresh citrus. Flavors: Grapefruit creamsicle. Mouthfeel: Beyond pillowy, practically frothy. Ingredients: a double dry-hopping of Cryo Ekuanot, Citra, and Simcoe Hops.
Levante brewing has developed a brand new way of packing extreme amounts of tangy, tropical hop juice into a Hazy IPA!
You’ve likely heard about dry-hopping. It’s the act of briefly adding hops at the very end of the brewing process to create as much fruity character as possible, all while avoiding the bitterness that occurs from leaving the hops in the boil.
Levante had a new idea, and boy did it pay off. Instead of hopping in the boil and then dry hopping at the end, they used an entirely hop-free boil, adding all of their Ekuanot, Citra, and Simcoe Hops during the dry hop stage.
The result: mass fruitopia, and absolutely no bitterness. Circuit Trip Hazy DDH IPA is straight up Ruby Red grapefruit creamsicle — ooh wee!
If you love huge, juiced-up hop flavors, you gotta snag a can or two of this innovative new IPA. It brings all the creamy zesty citrus to a party on your palate.
Not only is the flavor absolutely divine, this innovative approach also delivers a soft, velvety mouthfeel. Loaded with oat malt on top of flaked oats, the result is a quintessential pint of modern fluffy haze — A.K.A. a “hop smoothie.”
Let your friends keep drinking dry-hopped IPAs like they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread, ‘cause they are, if you don’t know about No Boil IPAs. Or snag enough to be able to share a few (it will be tough) and awaken their palates to this brand-new way to make an IPA.
