About This Beer
The Mountains Walking crew cold conditioned this Dark Lager for a full two months, letting it become more crisp and clean with every passing day. Then, they used a process called Spunging. It’s kind of like bottle conditioning, but instead of sealing the fermenting brew in a bottle, they seal the entire tank! That process naturally carbonates the whole batch at once, for crisp, effervescent bubbles and an ultra-smooth body. It’s almost TOO sippable!
Chopping Wood glows with flavorful notes of toffee, bittersweet chocolate, and freshly brewed coffee. Tettnanger Hops tantalize the senses with subtly intricate flavors of earthy citrus and spiced stone fruit.
A light, biscuity backbone balances the whole brew. With its smooth drinkability and robust flavors, this Schwarzbier makes it easy for tasters to drink every last quenching, 5% ABV drop.
