About This Beer

There are no two ways to say it: when it comes to dessert inspired beers, Drekker doesn’t do subtle. And of all Drekker’s series, none recreate true-to form, opulent, over-the-top treats like CHONK. The Fargo brewers and renowned Sour-heads whipped up their newest brew as an homage to the classic Spumoni; a treat you’d most likely find on the dessert menu at a fancy Italian restaurant.

Tasting Notes

Cherry leads off the taste, with a nutty undertone cutting through on the finish. All the while, the ice cream creates a creamy, fluffy body with a sweet finish as satisfying as that last melty spoonful from the bottom of the sundae bowl.

Really good amd creamy beer, but it would be even more amazing without the pistachios IMO. Very flavorful cherry finish with slight chocolate and tart notes

Well balanced. Cherry and Chocolate up front with a hint of the pistachio at the finish. Super thick but not sweet or tart. Another great Drekker product.

I have never had spumoni but judging by this I would absolutely love it. Chocolate cherry heaven with pistachio - liquid ice cream. Sweet.

Holy crap. Somehow I didn’t register that this one would be so chocolatey. And the pistachio?! Wow. This one knocks it out of the park. Whole-ass ice cream sundae in a can. This is incredible. I wish I’d bought more.

Literal liquid dessert. Strong cherry aromatics with a hint of pistachio. Starts with a tart cherry, going into a creamy chocolate, followed by a slight pistachio nuttiness.

I've never had spumoni so I can't say how accurate the flavor is but it's a really good cherry sour with a lot of chocolate flavor with a nice layer of pistachio flavor it's a great beer
