Chocolate Raspberry Imperial Stout
Untitled Art Brewing
A Note on This Beer
When’s the best time to plan a “Treat Yourself” day? Right now!
Especially since Untitled Art just released a Chocolate Raspberry Imperial Stout — I can’t think of a better occasion to enjoy this luxurious creation!
The brewers added a ridiculous amount of raspberry purée during the final stage of brewing. The result is a Stout that tastes uncannily like a box of raspberry-filled truffles. A dollop of milk sugar infuses even more silky goodness into this rich sipper. It goes down so smooth, you may not even notice the boozy 11% ABV until you get to the bottom of the can!
One Untappd reviewer calls it “the best fruit Stout I’ve ever had.” On the brewery’s social media, another dessert lover declares, “I need this! I don’t care what it takes to find this I need it!”
I’m definitely going to build up my stash of this brew before these rabid Stout fans scoop it all up! And, I’ll be getting enough for a whole Treat Yourself week.

The initial sip is overwhelming bitter (like burnt grains), but is softened as you drink. It eventually turns into a nice and very dark chocolate taste and aroma, close to cocoa nibs. The raspberry is wonderfully tart and fresh in this beer. This is a very nice stout. Easy to drink for the ABV.
Heavy choco in the beginning with long and strong raspberry finish. Like biting into a piece of cake
Definitely chocolate raspberry. Thinner body than expected, and flavors are a bit 2-D, but delicious nonetheless.
Tastes like a raspberry bar with dark chocolate chunks. Delicious dessert beer
Super sweet, artificially flavored, soda. Took 4 of us to finish one can and nobody wanted seconds.
Sweet raspberry chocolate dessert beer
While it has a really strong chocolate taste (and a slight raspberry taste), it overall is very sweet and the alcohol is overwhelming the other flavors.
Starts chocolate, finishes raspberry
The raspberry is too sour with the chocolate and it’s extremely strong
Nice and smooth, strong raspberry.
Big roasted chocolate and raspberry flavors with a hint of booziness in this 11%! Untitled Art doesn't disappoint!
Love this! I want to pour it over vanilla ice cream.
Not impressed, left me searching
Definitely lives up to it's name. Tastes like a raspberry chocolate bar. Great sipping beer.
Very sweet, was unable to finish.
12oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, flat. Aroma walks a fine line between berries and chocolate. Raspberry takes over in the taste, still enough chocolate to pretend you're actually eating chocolate covered raspberries. Really amazing dessert stout.
It reminds me of a black forest cake. Not something I would go out of my way for
Great raspberry up front and chocolate to follow!
The raspberry isn't subtle. It was too much for me.
Sweeter than I expected, with deep bold chocolate flavor.
Dessert beer! Sweet, sweet chocolate covered raspberry. Not bad, would not have more than one.
Desert beer. Amazing notes of raspberry and chocolate. Will buy next time it is up.
That's a sweet bitch
Really good. Perfect chocolate taste and the raspberry tastes so fresh. Untitled Art Brewing’s beers are so accurate in the flavor. Delicious alone or with desserts.
Super tart raspberry with loads of chocolate goodness! 🍻
Lives up to the name. Very chocolatey along with mildly tart raspberry
Awesome! Love this stout!
Very impressive, strong chocolate taste followed by tart raspberry - a bit too much but glad I tried it
More raspberry than chocolate. Reminds me of raspberry Bacardi in the Bahamas. Sharp taste, almost sour
Taste like one of those box chocolates with the pink raspberry insides. Slight bitter raspberry with sweet chocolate finish. Definitely could only drink 1 glass.
Tart and excellent
Wow big raspb
Lot of raspberries but, not much else
Another Untitled Art. You can't go wrong. Chocolate and raspberry in a stout. Yum! It's like drinking a chocolate raspberry truffle. <3
This tastes like a chocolate raspberry cake in all the best ways! Decadent and quite good
Yeah I didn’t like this at all, tastes like cough syrup and a stout had a unlovable child.
Good raspberry chocolate taste, a little thin.
Super tart, but washed down nicely with a hint of chocolate. Got more raspberry personally.
A sour stout
I’ve had a raspberry/chocolate imperial stout before from Ft George that was amazing! This one fell a little flat for me, too tart and not enough chocolate or body. It felt oddly like a stout and a simple kettle sour had a baby.
Very strong. Too much raspberry.
Great flavor. I feel boozy after the one
Great blend of chocolate and raspberry.
VERY raspberry, and very chocolate while we’re at it. Definitely a RIS, and a good one at that!
Really taste and smell the raspberry
While the raspberry taste stands out in this one, it's not bad... I tend to prefer the chocolate flavor. 1 star off.
A nice chocolate and tart raspberry flavor. Like when you get a chocolate orange ball for Christmas but it's the raspberry version.
This was absolutely delectable. It was like a liquid raspberry truffle. Rich and full, I'd definitely say this is a nightcap and can be savored slowly.
Very solid beer
Boozy and delightful. Raspberries are very present with the chocolate coming afterward. Tastes exactly as expected.
Terrific dessert beer.
Mostly a sour with a hint of chocolate. Delightful!
Strong but maybe not enough raspberry? Can taste it and the chocolate but something is missing.
Tastes like raspberry syrup with a couple cocoa nibs thrown in, however this would make for a pretty good stout float with chocolate ice cream. Update: makes an amazing beer float!
Delicious, bit sweet, but accomplishes what it advertises!
UA does it again! Rich chocolate with the tart berry is simply scrumptious
Kind of unbalanced. Lots and lots of raspberry, mild chocolate, over a nice stout base. An odd, almost bitter aftertaste.
super delicious, perfect balance of both flavors
sweet, rich, thick and delicious. utterly unbelievable
