For 17% way easier to drink than I imagined
This is a surprisingly crushable mild QIPA. It has a good, faintly resiny and syrupy, smooth body and a pleasant sweet, subtly-ish fruity and hoppy, flavor. While it’s very easy to drink, I wish it had more flavor and depth to it.
Tangerine transitioning to a subdued piney finish
Yuge, but super tasty and drinkable. Lots of flavor going on.
Simply and incredible beer. Even if you do not care for IPA’s. This is money.
In similar vain as Dogfish 120, huge nose of hops with surprisingly smooth mid-palate flavor followed by pine finish.
A blasphemy to barleywine to call this hop syrup by the same name.
Surprisingly smooth considering the ABV and IBUs.
It tastes like something I would drink again, but 17 horsepower is way too strong for skinny ol’ me.
Starts off brown sugary sweet, then gives way to a deep hoppy bite. It’s ABV is well hidden in a tasty conundrum of complexity. Warms you up from the inside the deeper you go down this wormhole.
Very smooth for 17%. Had to do a double take to make sure it was really that high of a abv. Great taste just wish it had a touch more mouthfeel.
Pretty amazing and super smooth. Not boozy or hop forward. It’s pretty perfect
Wow this is crazy! This beer is so smooth and so hoppy at first, then finishes dry and bitter like a true west coast IPA, also smells like it’s 17%.......but tastes like it’s 7% abv
First quintuple IPA that's for sure. This one is potent, but if you'd tell me it was 17 ABV, I'd assume you were joking. Masks it well and not without a fair amount of candy, citrusy flavor.
