About This Beer
To make this inky iteration of their epic Cafe Deth, the Chicagoland superstars aged a velvety base in bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned it on two varieties of fresh, whole-bean Guatemalan coffee from their friends at Dark Matter.
Tasting Notes
Complex sips overflow with decadent mocha notes accented by nuances of raisin, fig, and molasses. The rich chocolate and understated espresso tones mellow into hints of oak, walnut, and bourbon caramel on the tail end, concealing a deceptively smooth 14.8% ABV.

Sweet chocolate and coffee. The 14.8% abv is hidden. Tastes more like a sweet stout than a coffee stout.
